Privacy policy

This page describes what pulsekite.com does with information about its visitors. It is short because the site does very little.

Who is responsible

The operator of pulsekite.com and the controller of any personal data collected here: [to be supplied: legal name, address, e-mail].

The "request a demo" form

The form asks for a name, a work e-mail address, an organization, an approximate number of managed devices and a free-text message. Providing them is voluntary. Today the form sends nothing: it checks the fields in your browser and shows a confirmation; no data leaves your computer. When the form is connected to a mailbox, this page will say where the request goes, who reads it, how long it is kept and how to ask for its deletion, before the change goes live.

What the site keeps in your browser

No cookies are set. The site and its live demo keep a few preferences in your browser's own storage, readable by this site only and removable from the browser's settings:

KeyWhereWhat
pk-prefslocalStorageYour accessibility settings (text size, contrast, highlighted links, readable font, stop animations).
pk-bootsessionStorageThat the opening animation already played in this tab.
sccm-pulse-theme, pulse.filter.*, pulse.os.tab, pulse.events.tab, pulse.reports.recentlocalStorage (demo)The demo's theme, the filters and tabs you last used.
pulse.signin, pulse.signin.gate, pulse.devnav, pulse.signin.keepsessionStorage / localStorage (demo)The fictional demo viewer name (CONTOSO\demo.viewer) and the demo's navigation state. The demo has no sign-in: nothing you type is checked, sent or kept.

The live demo

The demo is a copy of the PulseKite dashboard running on fictional data of a company called Contoso. It is connected to nothing: every answer comes from files on this site, every change is refused, and nothing you do in it is sent anywhere.

Third parties

The site is served from its own host and loads nothing from other companies: no analytics, no trackers, no external fonts or scripts. Your IP address reaches only the host that serves the site, in its ordinary access logs, which are kept for [to be supplied: retention period].

Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law and, where it applies, the GDPR, you may ask what information about you is held, to correct or delete it, and to object to its use. Write to [to be supplied: contact address].
